Sugar Shack® 2.0 Buttonbush is the small-space version of one of North America's most charming native shrubs, and a gold medalist to boot. Whimsical, pincushion-like white blooms (think floral fireworks) cover the plant in summer, drawing in bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds for a steady pollinator party. As the flowers fade, they're followed by jewel-toned red fruit and burgundy fall foliage, giving this shrub a remarkable three (sometimes four) seasons of interest.
Bred to be smaller and tidier than the wild species, Sugar Shack® 2.0 reaches just 3-4 feet tall and 3-4 wide, fitting neatly into modern borders, rain gardens, and pollinator beds where the full-size buttonbush is simply too big.
